[tropical fish club] Re: cichlids with a dragon gobi

To start with, you don't say how large of a tank this is. Further, you should be aware that Convicts can breed almost as easily as rabbits, and when (note -- not "if," as they will) they decide to breed not very much is safe in their vicinity, Lastly, while Dragon Gobies do fine in freshwater as juveniles, at a period of about 6 months on they require increasingly stronger salt additions to their water. Without it, they will sooner or later slowly have a diminished appetite, eventually stop feeding and fail. You will eventually lose this fish as they are brackish water inhabitants when mature, and require conditions at that time of a salinity somewhere in the range of approximately half that of sea water -- or around 1.012 and at least 1.009.
