With your latest description, it's beginning to sound like Velvet. It
would be even more possible that it's velvet if it's somewhat off-white, like
having an orange tinge. The fact that it's starting to cover the whole body
also suggests it may be velvet, but if your medication selections are
limited, I don't know how you can treat it. Here in the States, we use meds such
as Mardell's "Coppersafe" and SeaChem's "Cupramine" to eradicate Velvet;
they're copper-based medications. Years ago, hobbyists use to put copper coins
in the aquarium until the disease disappeared, but there's no way to measure
how much copper is dissolving when doing that. If you have no other
medications available for this disease, having copper in it, you might want to try
that though.
