Hi Ray. I have decided to go with the velvet theory, so first thing this morning I did a 50% water change and put a new carbon filter in to remove the fluke meds.
I have managed to get some interpets anti slime and velvet treatment which is Formaldehyde, copper and quinine based and will treat when the carbon filter has had a chance to remove the old meds, probably later today.
You guys are so lucky to be able to buy meds over the counter it's a real pain in the U.K trying to get decent meds for fish especially anti biotic.
This stuff also claims to kill protozoan and fluke, anyway thanks for your expertise and taking the time to help.
Will let you know the outcome.
