Diana, I use a turkey baster on my dwarf frog tank ($3, Target). It is perfect for removing debris and uneaten food. It isn't really going to remove a large amount of water, if you need to do that. How small are your fry? What kind of fish? Are you a breeder?

Omg! Are you ok? Were they surprised in the ER how you got sick, or do they see that all the time? Can you syphon with some other device other than you, lol!!! I'm no breeder, but I am a nurse.
