Thanks everyone! I finally got a chance to do a little research this evening and have to agree they sure look like aiptasia. I removed the heavily infested rock and I’m following Kira’s suggestion to keep it in high salinity water for a couple of weeks to try and keep the only the bacteria alive. I do see a few individual aiptasia on other rocks so I’m planning to get a peppermint shrimp or something similar to try and keep them in check. We’ll see how it goes.
I really appreciate all the feedback,
Dave

Put the rock in water of with salinity of 40 for about 2 weeks this way it will kill whatever is on it, but not kill the good bacteria
