[tropical fish club] co2 pop bottle

 

I tried out this from me old home brewing days. The main problem is stable temperate control, aint no good in my house in the winter or the summer, average temperatures to low.

hi had a good look at site, its given me ideas like dont think fish. I have my vivarium setup more like the planted tanks, of course a pair of 6ft ball snakes dont like swimming much.

ppm = parts per million is the answer to your question as for adding co2
to your tank to help plant growth and makeing your own co2 utube or
google this it is easy to make using a 2 litter pop bottle 2 cups suger

I also live in an area with hard alkaline water and have had very good experience with the usual types of vallisneria, cryptocorynes, Java fern and the ubiquitous duckweed. (Not that I'm trying to grow duckweed...)

Hi Dave,
With it being winter the board has been quiet.  I know Giancarlo has spoken lots on CO2 if you search past messages using the key words Giancarlo and CO2 you should find loads.  His site is here: oops I see its down right now it says Google Crome has shut it down because of Malware being on it..
