I didn't know about that one. The text implies that each of the two
lights can be turned on and off independently. If so, running just one
light for a while might be another way to keep down an algae explosion.
Thanks for the info.

I will say I have some reservations about ZooMed quality based on a pump
of theirs I bought and on comments by a few others. But others may have
had better experiences.

Also, a note to the original poster - always check with BBB before you
buy online.
