[S&F and Reef Aquariums] Re-Cycle

 

It's certainly amazing how an established tank can be thrown off balance by seemingly small changes in environment.

Two months ago, I changed all the compact fluorescent bulbs in my 75-gallon setup. This action threw the tank into a massive brown-algae cycle, which is just now going away.

The difference between now and when I fist started the tank has been my patience to let the cycle take it's course, knowing all will be well in the long run, and that any counter measures I take can very well throw the system off worse.
