[Flyfishing The West] Re: Americam River In California

 

The Delta is supposed to be a very rich area in which to fly fish - heard that they have magnificent Stripers there.

There's a great book out recently : Fly Fishing the California Delta, by Mike Costello and John Sherman; John is an expert outdoor and Nature photographer who took some of the most amazing photographs of fishing that I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, down here in San Diego we mostly have only the surf in which to fish but that can be very exciting.

Good luck up there - let us know how it goes - like to take a trip up there and check it out one of these days!
