yes they eat but not much..if you can find them...they dont move around much...there cold bloodet like a snake...try some strawberry chicken brest for bait..if you get a fish theres a lot more in that same spot..
use small pcs of bait maybe a #6 hook..i paylake a lot theres a spot in the 1 lake where all the blues like to go in winter...the bite is slow so i just sit in the car..i just put a pc of paper on my line///[tattletail]///and hope..
if i get 3 fish a day thats a great day but more times then not i dont get a bite..if i see any ice i dont try at all....O cincinnati ohio here
