Hello Amy...
I am not sure if this will help but instead of salt, for a minute think
of fresh baked "pie's"
Using your e-mail please follow along...you state on the first day you
added two ( 2) spoons of salt.
Think of these and "pie's" and not salt....now or next you say you added
tow and a half (2 1/2 ) spoons of salt,
Again think of these as "pie's" so now you have two whole pies and 1/2
of a third pie.
Next you say that you have taken out 2 gal (uk) out , that is half of
the whole tank...so your had 2 1/2 in the tank before you removed any
water...so that that means using the 2 1/2 number ... think of that
number as "pie's"
again, so in this case you had 2 1/2 pies and you took away 1/2 ( 1/2 of
4 uk gallons) (Removed 2 gal of water).
so that would be 1/2 of 2 1/2 salts... think of pies you would need 1
and 1/4 pies put back to make the total of
2 1/2 pies...or put you back to the original number of salt which would
be the 2 1/2 you say you had before
you removed any of the tanks water.
I hope this may make some since...if not e-mail me.
