[Flyfishing The West] to fish or not to fish?

Would I be wasting my time/money to pursue a fly fish guide in Truckee, CA
area in July when my wife and I visit family in Lake Tahoe in JULY? I'll only
have a day or two to fish and don't plan to bring any tackle. Thanks for
advice. I'm pleased to report I found a friend to share guide and lodging for a
Henry's Fork trip in September. Mike from Boca Raton, FL
