[PONDERS_INTERNATIONAL] The dog's personal swimming pool?

 

This is my first pond, and I'm only a couple of months into it. Summer is coming on in my area, and I'm having trouble keeping my German Shepherd out of it. It's her little personal princess pool...

So she's constantly wet and muddy, and I wonder if her drinking out of and laying in it has an effect on the water quality...

Ezperienced ponders... Any recommendations? My pond is not very big. It's about seven feet in diameter, round, and about 3 feet at it's deepest point.
