Hello all,
About a year ago, my husband built a much larger pond and then used the biofilter from the smaller pond (which is about 1,800 gallons). Result is that we had green water ever since. That biofilter is a 200-gallon Rubbermaid stock tank. Our new pond is about 4,000 and I don't know that Rubbermaid makes a stock tank big enough for this pond. So, if you have a large pond, how did you construct your biofilter? And how large should mine be to filter 4,000 gallons?
Thanks for all the help.
