Re: [tropical fish club] Platy and Guppy behavior....

Good ideas, Christine. Thanks!
I will think about what to do.

Maybe an advert in your local shop? Def try the petshop you bought them
from - maybe they take fish back or will let you post an advert in their
shop. Online - Craigslist?

BUT, why rehome the Platy - you want peaceful fish and the Platy is one.
The Guppies seem, to me, to be the problem - and may harass other fish
you add to the tank later - so why not remove them?

I've been following this thread for a while and I'm also fairly new to
the group - I've been cycling a new tank (fishless) after getting back
into the hobby after many years. I seem to have acquired a snail with
the plants who has now had young ones (busy keeping the tank clean) and
have some Killifish fry that are 1 - 1.5 cm long and just beginning to
come out from hiding so I'm keen to learn about getting tankmates that
will be happy with each other.
