Yes - I should have mentioned that. Another thing to consider is that
no fish looks its best in the store - fish lose color when stressed.
PetsMart once (once!) had some M. maccullochi and I passed because they
didn't look all that interesting. I saw the very same fish in a large
tank a year or so later and they were dazzling!
Note that M. maccullochi is, at least according to some sources, one of
the few M. rainbowfish that don't like alkaline water. Always research
first!
