I will see what the readings are as each day passes.
I have been adding a lot of Prime to the tank as you
saw in my previous post. Over 1/2 Cup Prime is in
the tank over 4-5 weeks. Dr. Tim said it would take
several weeks to get rid of all the Prime in the tank
doing 10% water changes once every one or two weeks.
He said I could do 10% water changes daily to get rid of the
Prime faster. But he could say exactly when the Prime would be
gone.
Since Friday was the last day I added Prime to the tank, I
might start seeing the Ammonia going down soon.
So far, this morning it was still at 2.0.

Hi again Connie,
A quick follow-up to my previous post, and one I meant to include -- As
most hobbyists using Prime in the normal amounts (but which would still
build
up over time), to treat only the new water added with PWC's, don't get false
ammonia readings, then perhaps you shouldn't get them either after 48 hours
of waiting.
