Well, there is not much change in my tank.
I was hoping for some cycling changes since
putting in the Dr. Tim's One and Only 4 days ago
but nothing so far. I wonder if I need a Bio media
for the cycle to happen?
This just puzzles me. I really thought the tank would be
cycled by now or at lease showing signs of getting there.
Where are those ammonia eating bacteria! LOL!
I am dosing with 2 tsp Prime every other day.
API Test today: 9AM
PH - 7.9 to 8.0 GH- 7 KH - 7-8
Ammonia - 2.0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 30
Free Ammonia: .02 at 15 minutes and .15 at 30 minutes
Total Ammonia: 4.0 and 15 minutes and 2.0 at 30 minutes
Ammonia is up a bit but Nitrite is still at 0
and this is 5 days in a row with a zero reading
for the Nitrite and with no water changes.
This tank is 8.5 weeks old and the cycle
seems to be stuck. I don't get it. I haven't
cleaned anything; gravel, filter pad, decorations....
I did get a magnet glass cleaner and scraped the
glass.
But what can I do but wait. Maybe it just hasn't been
long enough since I put in the Dr. Tim's.
