We Have a generator. The problem is the gas. The lines are miles long and then they run out. My neighbor waited on line 12 hours for 5 gallons. The generator with nothing takes 1/2 gallon an hour. Unless he has a natural gas generator (which he may) that would be installed by plumber (about $10,000) then there is no way he has enough had to run 90 fish tanks. We use our generator a couple hours 2x a day. It is about 40 degrees upstairs and 60 in basement.
My frog tank is holding at 68 with blankets on it. No idea how the water is. I haven't been with it enough to test it.
I have even heard from people who lost everything in the flood in Toms River, so I am worried about Ray.
Does he have a smartphone? If not, that may be why we can't get to him.

Yes I believe he does have back up. I tried calling the number is busy. I hope that means he is home and on the phone and OK.
