When I set up my 50 gal tank many years ago, (6-7) I bought a collection of plants from a place in MN, don't remember the name anymore. But he asked the size of the tank, the kind of lighting, I had, & a few other things then put together a group of plants. They were reasonable or I wouldn't have bought them. Many years later they are doing well. My favorite is the Anubius. It was supposed to be an A. nana but after looking at pictures online I think it is A. coffifolia & I love it because it is continually in bloom. Right now there are three flowers & when they pass their prime, more will take their place. I do nothing special, they just bloom.
