sorry to hear that you lost your tank christmas eve. To the fungus, i don't know if its safe to do another treatment so i can't help you there. But have you tried using anti bacteria medicated fish food, i have used the ones made by Jungle and i do believe it helped. Would do any harm to give all your fish the medicated food, especially now while they have been stressed out. Hope you get a bigger tank for them soon.

Christmas eve I lost my 72 gal tank to a leak. I had to put all fish in a 20 gal until I was able to get a new tank up and running. I have an Angelfish pair and the female has a big patch of body fungus on one of her sides. She's solid black so it's easy to see. I have been treating with Maracyn and today is the 5th day of treatment and fungus is still there. I'm not sure how to proceed as the medication says to treat for 5 days. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
