[S&F and Reef Aquariums] Re: 3 buckets live rock and sand

 

I can tell you I just sold all of the live rock in my tank (at least 120 lbs) along with a couple small corals and stuff for about $400 on Craigslist not too long ago. Some places sell live rock in stores in the $3-$4 per pound range these days. Really depends on the market in your area for it. Quality rock that is seasoned is $6-$7 a pound in some stores too, but if nobody in the area is looking to buy it that doesn't really matter. 


I was originally trying to sell mine as an entire package, but got a bunch of calls first off wanting the liverock. I finally went ahead and broke it up and it all actually sold very quickly.
