I had some Blue Crayfish in a 55 gallon tank with some Angel Fish a few years ago. The Crayfish would always try and climb out of the tank. (They can crawl up pipes and hoses). I had to keep them in by making sure there was a lid on the tank. I'm not an expert on them as I just for fun threw a couple from my back yard ditch into the tank. However, it appears to me they do want to be able to reach the water line from time to time. As I recall they can breath through water or air. As I recall, the Angel Fish were somewhat aggressive towards the crayfish.

Hi Donna
Yes,that is what I was thinking. The Blue Crayfish would eat the excess
guppies. My concern and question is, can they both live in the same water
temp together? If so, what would be the ideal temp?
Thanks, Jane
