Due to Yahoo's policies, we have had to implement a few changes to the
retention time of photos kept in the "Photo" section of the group.

On roughly a monthly basis, the photo section will be pruned by group
management. Images that are older than 60 days will be deleted. If
this is not often enough, we will review the situation and notify you
of the changes we need to make.

If you place photos in the photo area for an "identification request",
please delete your own file after you have an ID. This may allow us
to keep a longer retention time.

In accordance with the above, I wanted to let everyone know that they
do have an area that you can store your own images. If you go to
http://photos.yahoo.com , you can create your own albums of photos to
share. Please remember to set the permissions such that anyone can
read the images. You can then either post a link to the images (when
you make updates), or place a link in the "Links" area of the group's
site. With this option, you can share images of your tank and have
no concerns about them being deleted by group management.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and someone should
be able to assist you. It may be best to place something such as
"[Photo Help]" as part of the subject (please do not include the
quotes) to catch the attention of those who have worked on this before.
