Hello every one. I just joined your group. I live in Oregon Right now my favorite fishing is crappie. Thats subject to change depending on my brothers fishing report.
Then it could change to salmon and steelhead. I also love perch fishing in the fall. I joined your group to see if I could learn more about crappie fishing. I am just starting again. I used to fish them when I was a kid. Second chilhood thing. Cheaper than a Corvette. lol My prior fishing was all pond fishing. I am now fishing larger reservoirs. It's a diffrent ball game. I have had limited success so far. I have always been in that top 10% that catch 90% of the fish. These paper mouth ghost have humbled me. Salmon and steelhead are easy. Sturgeon and Halibut are a piece of cake. Crappie they rein supreme. You will all probably get tired of me asking questions. Please be patient. I taught my kids and grandkids that the only dumb question is the one that you don't try to get an answer for. I am a retired timberfaller/baker. Quite a combo. I fell timber for 35 years and baked for 15 . I figured that was long enough to work so I retired. My wife calls it retarded. 
Who knows she may well be right. What sane man would let a little siver and black fish keep him awake nights. I used to have nightmares about huge bull elk standing there and my rifle wouldn't fire. Now I have nightmares about crappie celebrating making a fool of me. Well that should be quite a party. So far they have done that more often than not. One thing I don't lack is perserverance. I will figure the little rascals out if I live long enough. I plan on fishing for a long time yet so they just as well give up.lol
