Hi- I am new to this group and I have had small tanks successfully for many, many years. I prefer acrylic tanks, aquaclear filters, and modified eclipse covers. I currently have only a 6.5 gallon and a 12 gallon. I do 25% water changes every other week, and clean the filters on the opposite weeks. My tanks are a bit overstocked, but everyone is fine and happy. I feed them a variety of foods so they are not bored. Most of the fish are different types of tetras. I have 2 of each type, though I know it is recommended to buy 5-6. I have never had an issue and they seem to do well. One of my cory cats is 14 years old. I just love every single one of my fish, Maybe I am a bit crazy.
I am looking for a 26 gallon (or so) acrylic tank. Where do folks recommend purchasing one. I have not found one in area pet stores, even specialty fish stores.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
