You could try to repair, but if you have fish they need a new home for the curing time. It may or may seal up the 1st time, but do price up a back up. If you can get the filter to sit on the side of a storage container you could try that.

Subject: [tropical fish club] Tank Question
I have a 26 gallon bow front tank. It seems as if the seal broke and I have
a leak in the bottom front left hand side. My question is how hard and
reliable would it be to repair it? Should I just plan on purchasing a new
one and writing this one off as a loss?
