Hi Ray. Just had a look for the Hikari meds you mentioned again it's not available in the U.K.
I have two gourami's and they were the same size now the sick one I would say is about 15-20% smaller in mass and ½ inch shorter, I am guessing like any other animal he has lost weight due to he's illness, the tank has just had its second treatment, I guess it's just wait and see.
My platy has decided to give birth so as the fry are too small for the nursery tank (they can slip through the slots in it) I have moved the Gourami to the nursery tank and the fry are in the fine mess isolation tank.
This is my first experience with baby fish; I'm guessing as long as I prevent them from being eaten they will look after themselves.
Do you have any gators looking for a fight?
