Just to be clear, I don't lift these 5 gallon buckets to pour them into the
tank.
I use a 1/2 gallon pitcher I dip into the bucket and them pour that slowly
into the
tank. The fish love swimming through the bubbles it makes and I am very
careful
not to pour so hard that it disturbs the gravel. Sorry I didn't mention that
...
I definitely do NOT pour these huge buckets of water into the tank directly.

No matter how "buff" you are, it's difficult to pour water into a tank
from a 5 gallon bucket gently enough to not disturb the gravel or any
plants. It's not easy even from a 2 gallon bucket. I fill a five gallon
bucket, set it next to the aquarium, and use one of the little water
pumps they sell for fountains and the like to lift the water into the tank.
