Hello everyone
i know there are some angel breeders on this group so i have a question for you. I have two mated angels in my 90 gal. today i decided to move my 4 younger angels to the 90 gal where the mated pair live. Well the male was not impressed and was being agressive with the new arrivals. So what i decided to do was move the mated pair to the 25gal high which is the tank i grew out the 4 younger angels. Now is that tank large enough for the mated pair. There are no other fish in that tank and its over filtered, one sponge filter plus two hob outside filters. The male has settled down and the two are just chilling out now that they are the lone angels in the tank. This couple have layed eggs before but the eggs were gone by the morning. the 90 gal they were in has quite a few other fish in the tank, including lots of catfish and plecos. i don't really care if they bred or not to be honest but just want to make sure they will be okay in this size tank. The male was not a happy camper at all when i added the youngsters and i don't want the smaller angels to get hurt. i know the 25 gal high is not large enough to add other fish but would the mated angels be fine in that tank on their own. When i had the 4 angels in that tank, i did a 50% water change every week so i plan to continue with that. The tank is semi planted with java fern and some java moss. i don't keep a lot of gravel in that tank so no plants that have to be planted. so is this tank doable for two angels on their own.
thanks everyone
dianne
