While a 29 gallon tank for the mated pair would be preferable, that you're
making 50% weekly PWC's should ensure that this size (25 gallon) tank would
be adequate for them. I don't understand why you're making such large
weekly PWC's though, as they could likely be reduced by 30%, to weekly 35 %
PWC's. That this tank is "over filtered," if by this it results in strong
circulation, may mean that any spawns in this tank may not be viable. But since
you don't really care if they even breed or not, this would seem immaterial
to you. Just thought I'd advise you of this strong possibility though, if
those two HOB filters cause large currents. I note that the fish now in this
tank are chilling out, so it would appear they're comfortable with any
present currents, as probably were the four younger Angels if they've done well
enough for you to want to upgrade their tank -- so the conditions created by
these two HOB filters may not be as excessive as it sounds.
