At least these people tell you a 10 gallon tank would work really well. The GAF
(grow a frog) people say these frogs that can easily get to 6" and more nose to
butt. Its disgusting! They don't talk about the nitrogen cycle or any kind of
decent care.
We really should have laws against these kinds of "kits".Donna

Grow a Fish kits
I find this very sad. People exploiting animals and ripping off unsuspecting
people, especially children, just to make a fast buck... I was reading the info
listed at the link and where it said that a bowl would work for such a thing...
doesn't matter how peaceful the fish species is, if you put 6 of them into a
bowl you're going to have an issue with aggression, especially if more than 1
male is present... and that is only one of many potential problems waiting for
the people who buy these kits.
What a shame that this COULD be a good thing, a positive educational experience,
if the company would use it to educate people properly and thoroughly about the
hatching, raising, and needed care for killiefish. They could also use it as a
conservation effort to bring awareness of what is happening to our ecosystem and
the natural habitats of these fish and what we as people could be doing to help
save it, preserve it, and appreciate it.
